It's the year 2079, and what better way to deal with thugs and criminals in this futuristic sci-fi world but to place them in suspended animation and house them in a prison orbiting Earth? That's the scenario presented in the Luc Besson-produced sci-fi actioner opening this week, Lockout, which stars Guy Pearce as a Secret Service operative mistakenly charged with murder and treason. Just as he's about to be shipped out to the big pen in the sky, all hell breaks loose among the inmates and the U.S. President's daughter (Maggie Grace) is taken hostage in the riots. Guess who's tasked with her rescue?
All this leads us to our latest giveaway: you can own the actual suit, complete with (fake) jetpack and astronaut helmet, that Pearce wears in the film. All you need to do is 1) Like us on Facebook and 2) comment on the blog below and tell us, what is the scariest prison you have seen onscreen? (Can't immediately recall? Check out our 10 picks for the scariest movie prisons ever.) Must be 18 or older, U.S. resident, and use valid email when commenting so we can reach you. Winner will be selected at random Wednesday, April 18, and notified via email with (3) days to respond before an alternate is selected.
